Recycling

sustainability practices

The primary objectives of recycling are to safeguard the environment by minimizing the volume of waste that is directed to landfill sites and to reduce litter in our communities and ecosystems.

Recycling plays a crucial role in decreasing pollution, mitigating global warming, and conserving energy, materials, and natural resources. Our waste is systematically categorized into several groups, including Plastic, Paper, Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), Glass, and Cans.

These materials are collected at designated recycling centers within the community. Namely, OMD 2030, Oranjemund Private School and Ambrosius Amutenya School.

We encourage individuals/community members to contribute to environmental preservation by properly separating their waste.
