As conservation is a key part of our mission at OMD 2030, we encourage and continuously support residents to take an active role in preserving their environment and to take pride in their community.

Our recycling centre was launched in 2019, and for that year, we recorded 2.5 tonnes of waste collected. Here are the most recent recycling figures for Oranjemund, recorded from 2022 to 2024, collected at the town’s three recycling centres: OMD 2030, Ambrosius Amutenya Primary School, and Oranjemund Private School. Both schools joined our initiative in September 2019.
